EAT HEALTHY, MOVE MORE DAY

Good heart health can allow you to remain independent for longer and throughout your life.  Practicing healthy habits on a consistent basis will definitely help.  Today, be sure to eat foods from all 5 food groups to get the vitamins and minerals needed by your body.  Also, move more throughout the day, aiming for 30 - 60 mins or 5,000 - 10,000 steps in total.  Wearing a fitness tracker or pedometer, or using a phone app to measure your steps can help to motivate you!  (Note: 2,000 steps = Approx. 1 mile)
