A WONDERFUL SUCCESS!
The Purvis Primary Parent Teacher Association hosted its annual Family Fun Night on Friday, June 4th, 2010. This year’s fun night which took the form of a mini fair was well attended. By all accounts, this year's event was a HUGE success!
MicroSociety Meets Open Airways
Purvis Primary’s MicroSociety celebrated it’s annual ‘Micro Night’ on Monday, May 17, 2010. MicroSociety known as ‘Wonderland’ saw families and friends of Purvis students come out in full force to hear about Wonderland activities and purchase items on sale. In addition, Purvis Primary showed it’s support of Open Airways’ ‘Hour of Open Air’ by engaging both students and parents in an exciting outdoor dance activity. By all accounts Micro Night was a great success and enjoyed by all.
TRASH A THON SUCCESS!
Purvis Primary School's annual Trash a thon held last Saturday was a mighty success. A large number of volunteers from the school's Parent Teacher Association cleaned up the areas surrounding Warwick's Rubber Tree. This year saw an increase in the number of volunteers over previous years, which enabled the team to cover a wider areas. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ON A JOB WELL DONE!
