At our school, teachers, staff and parents work in partnership to create a stimulating and productive learning community where children can build on their strengths to reach their highest potential.
At Harrington Sound Primary, the core curriculum of language arts, math, social studies, and science is enhanced by the arts, music and physical education. Our library media center has a good collection of materials. Classroom, library and lab computers are networked and have access to the Internet, e-mail, student management systems and other web-based services. Our reading and learning support teachers, provide support to ensure student success. We have the support and services from the district of speech/ language therapists, and school psychologist. Reading Recovery provides individualized instruction to students in need of additional reading assistance.
Our skilled and committed teachers, support staff and energetic PTA, and numerous parent/community volunteers are all engaged in efforts to provide a rewarding educational experience for our students. We encourage and welcome your interest in all aspects of our educational program!
